Celestar Corporation is actively seeking a Senior Socio-Cultural Analysis (SCA) Analyst supporting the Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC) Intelligence Directorate / Joint Intelligence Center Special Operations Command (JICSOC) to SOCEUR who will be stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide socio-cultural analysis of Areas of Interest (AOIs), including population dynamics and relationships with VEOs, TCOs, and local governments
  • Deliver cultural insights on leadership, historical context, group dynamics, norms, values, and attitudes to support operations
  • Research, analyze, and produce intelligence products (e.g., studies, desk notes, briefings, bulletins) in response to RFIs
  • Integrate socio-cultural analysis with other intelligence disciplines into finished intelligence products
  • Identify population vulnerabilities to extremist influence and assess behavioral patterns, attitudes, and sentiments
  • Analyze factors that enable or hinder extremist and illicit activity within local populations
  • Identify exploitable opportunities within the socio-cultural environment to support asymmetric operations
  • Maintain and upload analytical data (e.g., geospatial, link analysis, social network data) to designated systems (SGE/UDOP)
  • Support SOF operational planning and provide updates on socio-cultural impacts to missions and conflicts
  • Leverage open-source and archival research to gather relevant socio-cultural and geographic information
  • Provide briefings and subject matter expertise to SOCOM/TSOC leadership, staff, and stakeholders
  • Travel, as required, to deliver real-time cultural intelligence and support engagements with partner nations
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and meetings in support of mission objectives
  • Meet production requirements, including monthly and quarterly analytical deliverables

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience conducting sociocultural analysis in the intelligence community.
  • Graduate-level degree (MA/MS) in Cultural Anthropology, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or Social and Cultural analysis, or related field discipline, or 5+ years on a PAS or HQ SCA team.
  • 8 years' experience with social/cultural studies (e.g., anthropology, sociology, political science, etc.) or development economics.
  • 8 years of IC or DOD all-source intelligence experience, including writing and briefing for senior IC/DoD customers
  • 2 years' experience working in a multi-skilled team environment, collaborating on the all-source production of intelligence analysis
  • Intermediate-level certification in ArcGIS: analysts have a working knowledge and skills necessary to process GIS data, conduct spatial and suitability analysis, and create maps.
  • 8 years' experience utilizing All-source Intelligence Community tools and applications (Trident, TAC, etc.)
  • Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Must have a valid US Passport
