Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking a NC3 (Nuclear Command Control and Communications) Analyst to provide specialized technical, analytical, and programmatic support to the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Division (AF/A10XN). This role supports the Department of the Air Force's responsibility to assess, develop, and sustain NC3 capabilities across the enterprise, ensuring systems remain resilient, survivable, and secure in support of national command authorities. The position requires close coordination across the Air Force, Space Force, Navy, and interagency partners to support governance, requirements analysis, and strategic modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the resiliency and survivability of the NC3 enterprise against a full spectrum of threats, including cyber, physical, and electromagnetic effects.
- Evaluate enterprise cybersecurity practices and assess their impact on NC3 systems, policies, and operational guidance.
- Conduct analysis of Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC), Joint Staff, and Combatant Command requirements and assess implications for Department of the Air Force policies and capabilities.
- Assess next-generation NC3 concepts, technologies, and strategic guidance to identify capability gaps and propose aligned solutions.
- Support integration analysis with Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) concepts and ensure alignment with evolving strategic frameworks.
- Develop technical and analytical reports, briefings, and written products to inform senior leader decision-making and policy development.
- Provide analytical and preparatory support for participation in governance forums, technical meetings, and senior leader engagements.
- Prepare read-ahead materials, talking points, and briefing packages for leadership use in high-level discussions and decision forums.
- Summarize and analyze outcomes from meetings and engagements, identifying key impacts, risks, and recommended actions.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Demonstrated experience in nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3), defense systems, cybersecurity, or related national security domains
- Strong analytical and technical assessment skills, particularly in evaluating complex systems and enterprise architectures
- Experience developing briefings, technical reports, and policy-oriented documentation for senior leaders
- Familiarity with DoD requirements processes, including JROC and Joint Staff coordination
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application to mission-critical systems
- Ability to operate in a highly collaborative, interagency environment with multiple stakeholders
