Scrum Master

Must be a US Citizen who currently possesses a Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Must be local to the DC Metro area as this is a hybrid position within CONUS. Presence at gov facilities (Quantico, VA and other areas within DMV) may be required 2-4x a week. Some travel will be required.

Scrum Master/ Agile Champion / Project Manager with 10+ years of experience

• Familiar with agile software development process (10+ years)
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Scrum practices (10+ years)
• Work closely with the PM to conduct sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives
• Support IBM teams and customer SMEs in delivering modernization milestones
• Track sprint progress, manage Jira boards, and ensure story completion
• Promote continuous improvement through feedback and team collaboration
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Architects to align priorities
• Maintain transparency of team performance and delivery metrics

Required skills/Level of Experience:

• Scrum Master: 10+ years of experience with Agile software development processes.
• 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and Scrum principles
• Experience managing Jira boards and Agile metrics
• Skilled in facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ability to coach teams and resolve delivery blockers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Experience supporting cross-functional technical teams
• Bachelor's in Business, IT, or related field

Nice to have skills:

• 2+ years supporting federal or enterprise-level Agile projects
• Experience with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud-native delivery environments
• Master's degree or certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist
