The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a cleared Asset Manager- Fielding / Acquisition responsible for property management, tracking, and forecasting of system fielding to Army units in support of our US Army client at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. In this position, you will serve as the coordinator between an Army Project Manager (PM), an Integration Facility/Warehouse, a Readiness Management Division, and customers seeking systems and/or parts. You will support the client at the O-6 and O-5 levels.
Responsibilities:
-Performs property management tasks associated with the fielding of Mounted Command & Control (MC2) systems to Army units
-Responsible for tracking and forecasting all past, current, and future fielded equipment within the PdM MC2 portfolio
-Maintains, tracks, and archives all equipment and kit configurations. Kits include all vehicle installation kits on various US Army tactical vehicles for MC2
- Coordinates and assists with all MC2 procurement actions to support Material Fielding and labs
- Establishes and implements all processes to track all MC2 equipment to include DD250 acceptance, MCIF stock, fielding stock, and loans to other organizations in order to maintain total asset visibility
- Tracks and completes paperwork for temporary (DA 2062) and permanent (DA 3161, DPAS, G-ARMY) property transfers to internal and external organizations
- Ensures adherence with Army Regulation 700-142 Material Fielding regulation in the execution of fielding activities
- Ensures that all property accountability discrepancies are properly reconciled and that property books are properly maintained
- Facilitates Bi-weekly/weekly meeting with stakeholders from the Readiness Management Division (RMD) fielding team, RMD product support team, PdM MC2 and the Integration Facility to ensure there is open communication and issues/concerns are addressed. Meeting minutes will be posted after each meeting outlining open action items.
Qualifications:
Required:
- US Citizenship and possess a Current Active DoD Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or an additional seven (7) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience and understanding in the field of acquisition logistics and sustainment support
- Experience and training on Army Property Book Management and Army Regulation 700-142
- Familiarity with US Army Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR) to include Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Logistics Management Plan (LMP), and Global Command Support System-Army (GCSS-A)
- Experience with US Army Material fielding of C5ISR systems
- Familiarity with US Army tactical formation in support of the US Army Campaign Plan
- Knowledge of maintaining inventories and experience forecasting high distribution of systems fielded to many different types of tactical unit formations and platforms
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
