Tracking Systems Engineer
Scottsdale, AZ
Seeking a Tracking Systems Engineer to support the development and deployment of advanced ground operational systems for the SDA Ground Management & Integration Program. This role supports mission-critical tracking capabilities for space-based systems within a secure DoD environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, test, and deployment) for tracking systems
- Contribute to the design and implementation of tracking mission solutions for space-based platforms
- Integrate tracking systems with satellite communications (SATCOM) and ground infrastructure
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including software, hardware, and mission operations
- Identify and implement technology improvements and process enhancements
- Provide technical leadership and support customer engagements as required
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree + 6 years experience)
- Department of Defense TS/SCI clearance (preferred at time of hire)
- Experience supporting the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with tracking mission design
- Knowledge of satellite communications (SATCOM)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Ability to work on-site in support of secure program requirements
