Dissemination Analyst Team Lead
Fort Belvoir, VA | Full Time | TS/SCI, CI Polygraph preferred
SteelGate is a seeking a Dissemination Analyst Team Lead to lead and manage a team responsible for intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination activities. This role ensures intelligence products are properly classified, disseminated, and managed across security domains while supporting Intelligence Community policies and operational requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead and manage a team performing intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination, including task assignment, prioritization, and quality control.
• Execute and oversee the movement of properly marked intelligence products across security domains, including cross-domain dissemination and registration into approved intelligence repositories.
• Make and support complex classification, dissemination, and foreign disclosure decisions, including coalition and foreign partner support and cross-domain operations.
• Manage the distribution, posting, and release of intelligence products to approved individuals, organizations, and systems, verifying user clearances and access permissions.
• Generate, modify, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of intelligence product metadata in accordance with Government-approved standards.
• Utilize Government-specified dissemination and metadata tools, including:
• Document Dissemination Tool (DDT)
• Create, Organize, Retrieve, and Evaluate (CORE)
• DIA Product Control Numbering Database (PCN DB)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Log and track potential inadvertent security incidents and maintain site SOPs in compliance with applicable policies and guidance.
• Draft, maintain, and update SOPs and operational documentation supporting dissemination and knowledge management functions.
• Produce intelligence products and reports that integrate narrative and graphics to clearly convey complex analytic concepts.
• Deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences across organizational and Intelligence Community boundaries.
• Instruct and collaborate with small groups to define data and information requirements and coordinate dissemination activities.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly communicate findings.
• Review analytic products to ensure tradecraft compliance, analytic rigor, logical argumentation, and sufficient evidentiary support, routinely testing conclusions.
• Define and apply new or innovative research approaches to support high-level mission requirements.
• Operate independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating sound judgment and accountability.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience supporting complex classification and dissemination decisions, including coalition/foreign partner support, foreign disclosure, and cross-domain operations.
Demonstrated ability to:
• Deliver professional briefings and presentations
• Draft and maintain SOPs and formal documentation
• Produce intelligence products incorporating text and graphics
• Apply and manage intelligence metadata
• Instruct and engage small groups on data and information requirements
• In-depth knowledge of labor category functions required to meet mission objectives
• Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and awareness of evolving tradecraft
• Ability to incorporate relevant academic or external developments into analytic methodology
• Demonstrated expertise in evaluating analytic products for rigor, coherence, and evidentiary support
Desired Experience:
• 9 years of position-related experience, with some experience within the last 2 years.
• 9 years of experience in an intelligence discipline within the DoD or Intelligence Community, with experience within the last 2 years
• Advanced experience using Microsoft SharePoint 2013 or later
Desired Education (one of the following):
• Bachelor's degree in an area related to the position from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
• Master's degree with 5 years of intelligence discipline experience
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of intelligence discipline experience
• Associate's degree with 7 years of intelligence discipline experience
• High School Diploma with 9 years of intelligence discipline experience
• At least 4 years of experience leading teams and managing subordinate personnel performing intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
