Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Manage the full lifecycle of Linux systems, encompassing provisioning, configuration, patching, security, and hardening.
• Develop and implement robust system configuration scripts to ensure consistency and automation.
• Leverage virtualization technologies such as VMWare and automation tools like Ansible.
• Work extensively with IPv4 networking, Kickstart, and PXE for system deployment and management.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 10+ years
• Salary: $235k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Perform comprehensive Linux Systems Administration, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Provision, configure, and manage Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Apply security patches and implement system hardening measures to maintain system integrity and compliance.
• Design, develop, and deploy automation scripts using Ansible for efficient system configuration and management tasks.
• Administer and maintain virtualized infrastructure within VMWare environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPv4 networking protocols and services.
• Utilize Kickstart and PXE for automated operating system deployments and imaging.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of Linux systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and operational procedures.
• Ensure systems adhere to established security policies and operational best practices.
