Summary:
• Integrate, test, deploy, and troubleshoot critical mission services across diverse environments.
• Work with both on-premise infrastructure and AWS Cloud platforms.
• Apply advanced expertise in Linux system administration, scripting, and modern DevOps methodologies.
• Utilize a comprehensive set of technologies including big data processing, NoSQL databases, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
• Contribute to continuous integration practices and ensure robust system monitoring.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 8+ years
Salary: $243k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Perform integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of mission-critical services.
• Administer and maintain Linux operating systems, leveraging advanced Linux CLI skills.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using Bash and Python for system operations.
• Apply DevOps principles and tools, including Git, to manage continuous integration pipelines.
• Work with the Hadoop ecosystem, including NiFi and Map Reduce, for data processing.
• Manage and optimize NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Accumulo.
• Utilize Docker for application containerization and deployment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Salt, and Puppet.
• Monitor system performance and health effectively using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate on project management and documentation within JIRA and Confluence.
• Leverage AWS Cloud services for deployments and operational tasks.
