Position Overview
The Wing Readiness Manager is responsible for managing and executing deployment and readiness operations for 25 ATKW personnel. This role ensures full compliance with DoD, Air Force, MAJCOM, and Combatant Command (COCOM) guidance while overseeing readiness reporting, deployment processing, training coordination, and mobility program management. The position serves as the wing's subject matter expert (SME) for readiness reporting and deployment operations.

Position Overview
The Wing Readiness Manager is responsible for managing and executing deployment and readiness operations for 25 ATKW personnel. This role ensures full compliance with DoD, Air Force, MAJCOM, and Combatant Command (COCOM) guidance while overseeing readiness reporting, deployment processing, training coordination, and mobility program management. The position serves as the wing's subject matter expert (SME) for readiness reporting and deployment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment & Mobility Management
- Prepare and process personnel for deployments and redeployments in support of combat operations, exercises, and contingency missions.
- Coordinate and schedule all pre-deployment requirements, including training, medical, logistics, and administrative actions.
- Build, maintain, and validate individual mobility folders and deployment documentation in accordance with applicable AFIs and the Foreign Clearance Guide (FCG).
- Generate and verify Isolated Personnel Reports (ISOPREP) and ensure personnel meet all deployment eligibility requirements.
- Coordinate travel arrangements with Commercial Travel Office (CTO), Air Mobility Command (AMC), and unit resource advisors.
Training & Coordination
- Schedule and track pre-deployment and ancillary training using systems such as ACES and SFMIS.
- Coordinate with Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) and other mobility support agencies to ensure completion of all required training.
- Provide training to unit personnel, including Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool (ART) users and readiness reporting stakeholders.
Equipment & Logistics Oversight
- Identify, procure, manage, and distribute deployment equipment in accordance with Air Force and host base guidance.
- Maintain accountability of deployment equipment and submit procurement requirements to leadership.
- Utilize LOGMOD and other tracking tools to monitor logistics and mobility readiness.
Readiness Reporting & Analysis
- Serve as the wing SME for readiness reporting systems including ART, DRRS, AF-IT, and DCAPES.
- Manage Unit Type Code (UTC) posturing, personnel status updates, and deployment tracking within DCAPES.
- Monitor Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) and taskings affecting the wing.
- Track and report readiness metrics across personnel, units, and equipment; provide weekly and monthly status reports to leadership.
- Prepare monthly readiness briefings for Wing Commander review, including resource and capability assessments.
Program Management & Compliance
- Ensure units maintain accurate and timely readiness reporting, including Commanders Readiness Reports (CRR).
- Verify Unit Commanders (UCs) and Unit Administrators (UAs) are properly trained and assigned.
- Review unit readiness assessments in DRRS for accuracy, completeness, and clarity; provide corrective guidance as needed.
- Coordinate with MAJCOM Functional Area Managers (FAMs) to maintain DOC statements, METLs, Named Operations, and Top Priority Plans.
Coordination & Communication
- Interface with wing, base, MAJCOM, and Combatant Command stakeholders to resolve deployment and readiness issues.
- Disseminate Higher Headquarters (HHQ) guidance to subordinate and geographically separated units.
- Provide weekly updates on deployed personnel status, locations, and reporting requirements.
Inspection & Assessment Support
- Assist in preparing the wing and subordinate units for inspections and assessments in accordance with AFI 90-201.
- Support self-assessments and ensure compliance with Air Force Inspection System requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) at the group level or higher.
- Demonstrated experience with Air Force readiness reporting systems (ART, DRRS, DCAPES, AF-IT).
- Strong knowledge of deployment processing, mobility requirements, and AFI compliance.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NATO ACCM eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting MAJCOM or COCOM-level readiness programs.
- Familiarity with LOGMOD, TPFDD management, and mobility logistics systems.
- Experience coordinating with Air Combat Command (ACC) and higher headquarters.
- Strong analytical, briefing, and reporting skills supporting senior leadership.
