Senior Test Lead

Mount Indie is seeking a Senior Test Lead Engineer to drive the strategy and execution of a first-of-its-kind test campaign for a multi-function software-defined radio system. This role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, RF testing, and program leadership, owning qualification and validation across complex integrated systems.

You will lead test efforts from early planning through environmental and qualification testing, ensuring system performance meets rigorous mission and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system-level test strategy, planning, and execution for RF-based systems
• Spearhead qualification and validation efforts across integrated hardware, software, and firmware
• Define and execute test campaigns across SIL, HIL, and classified/unclassified environments
• Collaborate with engineering and program stakeholders to refine requirements and test approaches
• Support major program milestones including SRR, PDR, CDR, and qualification testing events
• Analyze system performance and deliver clear, actionable technical reports
• Manage system interfaces and ensure test alignment with system architecture
• Identify risks, resolve technical issues, and maintain schedule alignment
• Present technical findings and test results to leadership and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience in system-level testing of complex electronic systems
• Experience testing systems integrating RF, embedded software, and firmware
• Strong background in test engineering, systems engineering, and lifecycle execution
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional activities
• Experience executing programs from concept through qualification and delivery
• Excellent communication and technical presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF mission systems (radar, EW, or secure communications)
• Familiarity with MIL-STD, DO-160, EMI/EMC testing
• Background in environmental and qualification testing
• Experience supporting defense or aerospace programs
• Exposure to MBSE or CAMEO
