We are seeking a Senior Engagement Task Lead to support the USSOCOM J39 program, responsible for synchronizing Senior Military Engagement Program (SMEP) efforts across Combatant Commands (CCMDs).
This role serves as a critical enterprise-level integrator, ensuring consistent, responsive, and mission-aligned engagement support across a globally distributed operational environment. You will act as the connective layer between USSOCOM J39, TSOCs, and CCMD stakeholders, enabling agile execution and alignment with evolving mission priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and synchronize SMEP support across multiple Combatant Commands (CCMDs)
- Manage prioritization and allocation of contractor personnel based on mission needs
- Maintain real-time awareness of global operational requirements and shifting priorities
- Serve as the primary interface between:
- USSOCOM J39
- Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs)
- CCMD stakeholders
- USSOCOM J39
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of engagement support across all theaters
- Identify and resolve:
- Resourcing gaps
- Mission friction points
- Resourcing gaps
- Support planning and execution of engagement strategies aligned with OIE/IO efforts
- Ensure alignment with J39 priorities, policies, and operational objectives
- Enable flexible tasking and movement of personnel in dynamic environments
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Current PMI PMP or PgMP certification (required)
- Minimum of 3 years (within the last 7 years) supporting:
- USSOCOM J39 OR
- Programs requiring working knowledge of J39 operations, issuances, and policies
- USSOCOM J39 OR
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading Information Operations (IO) or OIE-related programs
- Formal education or professional training in:
- Psychological Operations (PSYOP)
- Information Operations (IO)
- Psychological Operations (PSYOP)
- Experience coordinating efforts across:
- CCMDs
- TSOCs
- Joint or SOF environments
- CCMDs
Ideal Candidate Profile

- Former SOF or Joint leader with enterprise-level experience, such as:
- O-5 / O-6 (preferred)
- Senior GS (GS-14/15) with SOCOM or CCMD experience
- O-5 / O-6 (preferred)
- J39 / IO / PSYOP leadership roles
- TSOC or CCMD engagement / liaison positions
- Global force management or operational synchronization roles
- Supporting USSOCOM enterprise-level missions
- Cross-CCMD coordination or global campaign execution
- Information warfare, influence operations, or strategic engagement activities
- Former SOF or Joint leader with enterprise-level experience, such as:
