Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior SQL Developer to support an industry‑leading innovator in predictive maintenance and condition monitoring, delivering high‑impact, mission‑critical solutions for government and commercial clients while offering technologists the chance to work on cutting‑edge systems that truly make a difference. This individual will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL views, stored procedures, and functions that support mission‑critical systems. This role ensures database performance, data integrity, and transactional consistency while collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders to meet evolving requirements. The position requires advanced ANSI SQL expertise, experience with enterprise RDBMS platforms, and the ability to operate in secure, high‑reliability environments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensures database performance, data integrity, and transactional consistency while collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders to meet evolving needs
- Assist with large migration project ensuring all data is collected, reviewed, and transferred correctly and securly
- Ensure proper documentation of database objects, procedures and standards
- Support operational stability by participating in database reviews, testing, and monitoring
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field with 4 years of hands on experience or 8+ years of hands-on related experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Past migration and data management experience with:
- MYSQL
- Data replication
- Sybase
- SQL Anywhere
- IBM DB2
- MariaDB
- SQL Server
- Change Data Capture
- Migration of data within SQL or NoSQL
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- ETL / Database design / Database pipelining and workflows
- Database deployment and version control
Compensation: 50-60/HR
