Job Description
ECS is seeking a Naval Architecture and Signatures Test/Evaluation (T&E) Engineer (TS/SCI) to support client work based at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in Washington, DC and conducted in multiple CONUS locations.
ECS is seeking a Naval Architecture and Signatures Test/Evaluation (T&E) Engineer (TS/SCI) to support client work based at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in Washington, DC and conducted in multiple CONUS locations.
- Planning and execution of ship signature and survivability projects in various classification environments.
- Provide subject matter expertise in ship signature technology, monitor project technical execution, identify technical risk, develop risk mitigation strategies, and provide programmatic and technical recommendations.
- Conduct engineering studies and analysis in ship signature technologies regarding ship design, prototypes, build, and sustainment.
- Provide subject matter expertise related to ONR science and technology processes, procedures, and rules.
- Provide subject matter expertise related to processes and procedures used to define USN requirements, capability gaps, and fleet needs.
- Provide subject matter expertise related to transitioning technology and capabilities to the warfighter.
- Leverage broad, diverse or specialized background(s) sufficient to confidently offer recommendations as to viability and or practicality of new requirements.
- Evidence of minimum ten (10) years experience in US Government or industry ship signature technology engineering, measurement, and management.
- Bachelor's Degree from a technical field of study (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar fields).
- Evidence of research, development, test & evaluation (RDT&E) EW/EMSO systems program experience.
- Oral presentation skills suitable for complex technical topics with government leadership.
- Proficient with MS Office 365.
- Current TS/SCI clearance and PR, and must be willing to submit to a polygraph.
- Evidence of minimum twenty (20) years experience in US Government or industry ship signature technology engineering, measurement, and management.
- Master's Degree from a technical or business field of study.
- Evidence of extensive research, development, test & evaluation (RDT&E) EW/EMSO systems program experience.
- Strong oral presentation skills suitable for complex technical topics with senior government leadership.
- Highly proficient with MS Office 365.
