Responsibilities
Insight Global is looking to hire a Telecommunications Systems Requirements Engineer to support a defense customer in Fort Meade, MD. This individual will be a part of a growing team responsible for providing various areas of support to a Program Management Office (PMO).
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with both technical and non-technical personnel for requirements gathering and guidance.
- Translate business, operational, and regulatory needs into clear, testable requirements for global telecommunications network infrastructure.
- Partner with Vendors for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate with vendors and develop new/improved system design and architecture based on requirements.
- Support verification and validation by ensuring infrastructure requirements are traceable to test plans, acceptance criteria, and deployment readiness checks.
- Provide documentation and reporting on findings and validate requirements through reviews and feedback from key players.
Must-haves
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience as a Systems Requirements Engineer Prior experience supporting new system and telecom network architectural build outs for government locations
- Ability to gather requirements from government personnel and management to provide guidance and recommendations to improve processes and procedures.
