ASRC Federal is hiring an IT Support and Services Specialist I. This is an on-site position supporting the Army National Guard Chief of Staff - Facilities providing support for non-military IT and communications systems located at NGB, 111 S. George Mason Dr., Arlington, VA 22204

• Provide support for non-military information technology
• Review design requirements submitted by customers, ensuring compliance with all AV and IT system standards
• Organize and conduct all end-user training on Facilities Management Interact (FM: Interact) annually or as needed.
• Attend planning meetings to facilitate audio/visual information system design implementation and provide recommendations
• Participate in weekly project meetings involving nonmilitary IT systems (BACnet, DPWnet, ESS, WiFi, and provide recommendations with options.
• Prepare authority to operate (ATO) and CoN documentation for government review and approval for military applications used by the Facilities Management Office.
• Prepare appropriate documentation required by the ARNG G6 Information Technology Requirements Control Board (ITRCB) for FMO systems.
• Maintain operational capability of non-military switches
• Provide technical support for end users on wireless systems
• Provide assistance to Facilities Management Office Space Managers and Facilities Management Office Engineers with data entry and report generation with applicable software systems to include FM Interact and Office 365 products.
• Maintain and monitor monthly updates to the Facilities Management Office SharePoint and Microsoft 365 office sites based on the office requirements.
• Maintain system security for non-military wireless networks (passwords, physical security, and wireless network security interfaces).
• Update non-military government servers, software applications, network services and components
• Provide desktop support services and configure PCs
• Conduct application software updates when available.
• Have completed or be able to complete online FEMA emergency management training courses to improve emergency management proficiency and enable to support the function of monitoring and responding to emergency situations within the facility.
• Provide support to the Facility Emergency Operations Center through technical support and monitoring of display systems, telecommunications systems, and alarm and notification systems.
• During emergency situations, as necessary, support the execution of emergency procedures such execute communications, alert system notifications, ensure proper execution of established procedures, and other tasks as assigned to support emergency response.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 0-2 years of experience as an IT support specialist or help desk technician.
  • Ability to review documentation and make recommendations to customers for non-military IT and communications systems.
  • Understanding of wireless and communications technology with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide administration and resolution.
  • Microsoft Office 365 and Windows PC system administration and configuration experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • SECRET clearance required.
