IaaS Engineer
Location: Lakehurst, NJ
Job Description:
Serve as a Cloud Engineer with SAP knowledge
Design, build, secure, and containerize IAAS
Operate Kubernetes service clusters in support of application workloads
Across both cloud and hybrid environments
Support platform operations, developer platform, and scalable delivery
Support Kubernetes fundamentals for the following:
Namespaces, Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets
Jobs/CronJobs, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps
Cluster admin tasks
Support network and security protocols including:
RBAC
Pod Security Standards
Network policies, and admission controls for least privilege/multi-tenant isolation
Provide cluster lifecycle management:
Provisioning
Upgrades (control-plane/node pools)
Autoscaling (Cluster Autoscaler, HPA/VPA)
Node pool management (OS images, taints/tolerations)
Design operational delivery and support of storage, networking and resources
Support infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or Bicep, plus CLI and automation
Qualifications:
3+ years of Infrastructure as a Service experience
Strong understanding of SAP engineering
Cloud Engineering experience
Hands-on Kubernetes experience
Experience designing and managing storage, network, and system infrastructure
Experience building and managing pipelines
Automation experience
Experience with the following:
Ansible and Terraform
Python, Java, Bash and/or PowerShell
Active DoD Secret Clearance
