Summary:
• Design, validate, and implement comprehensive system security architectures.
• Lead security planning, threat assessment, and risk management activities.
• Ensure security requirements are integrated and met across hardware and software systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to maintain secure environments.
• Provide expertise in software configuration management for security applications.
Qualifications & Compensation:
- Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 14+ years
- Salary: $214k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Validate system security requirements and establish secure designs.
• Implement and maintain robust information security architectures.
• Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks.
• Lead security planning, assessment, and overall risk management processes.
• Collaborate effectively with Systems Engineering, Software Testing, and Integration and Test (I&T) teams.
• Ensure hardware and software architectures adhere to all security requirements.
• Evaluate critical software components and enforce strict security policies.
• Provide traditional Software Configuration Management for security-related software.
• Apply expertise in System Security, Software Architecture, Hardware Engineering, and Software Development.
• Utilize knowledge of Network Protocols, Web Services, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Employ tools and methodologies such as Penetration Testing, Wireshark, and the Risk Management Framework.
• Securely configure and manage Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
