The Sponsor's office designs and implements enterprise network architectures supporting mission- critical systems, including WAN, LAN, firewalls, VoIP, video engineering, data centers, and network security operations. The organization seeks a Network Cryptographic Engineer with deep expertise in General Dynamics cryptographic devices to support engineering, integration, and operational efforts across new and legacy network environments.
This role provides subject matter expertise, hands- on engineering, and strategic guidance for the deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of General Dynamics crypto solutions. The engineer will collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient network operations while supporting the evolution of the Sponsor's enterprise network architecture.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate and maintain General Dynamics cryptographic devices within the Sponsor's enterprise network environment.
- Provide SME- level technical support for General Dynamics crypto devices, ensuring optimal performance across legacy and modern network architectures.
- Perform hands- on engineering and integration activities , including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cryptographic hardware and supporting systems.
- Develop technical solutions to address complex challenges related to crypto device deployment and integration .
- Provide technical direction and strategic guidance for the implementation, operation, and sustainment of cryptographic solutions.
- Identify operational risks and recommend improvements that enhance security, reliability, and efficiency of the network environment.
- Support long- term investment value by ensuring proper lifecycle management and operational effectiveness of crypto technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and program stakeholders to meet project objectives and mission requirements .
- Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials to support system operations and knowledge transfer.
- Provide training and technical guidance to personnel responsible for operating and supporting cryptographic devices.

- Existing Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Poly
- Demonstrated expertise with General Dynamics cryptographic devices , including models such as E- 100, FLEX, Micro, Nano, TL- 10G, TL- 1G , and next- generation crypto platforms.
- Experience configuring, operating, and maintaining enterprise cryptographic systems .
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic principles, protocols, and technologies , including encryption, decryption, and key management.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex cryptographic solutions in enterprise network environments.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving advanced technical issues related to crypto devices .
- Experience using GEM Crypto Manager software .
- Ability to provide technical guidance and training to operational staff and stakeholders.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross- functional engineering and technical teams .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including development of technical documentation and training materials .

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices supporting automated deployment and system integration.
- Experience working within Sponsor network environments , including both legacy and modern infrastructure.
