We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer who excels at designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex cryptographic architectures, with strong technical fluency in encryption principles, key‑management protocols, and secure system operations. This role requires the ability to diagnose and resolve advanced device issues, develop clear technical documentation and training materials, and provide expert guidance to engineers, technicians, and mission stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
  • In-depth knowledge of General Dynamics crypto devices such as the E-100, FLEX, Micro, Nano, TL-10G, TL-1g, and next generation crypto devices, including their configuration, operation, and maintenance.
  • Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex cryptographic systems.
  • Technical knowledge of cryptographic principles, protocols, and technologies, including those related to General Dynamics crypto devices.
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues related to General Dynamics crypto devices and developing effective solutions.
  • Cryptographic protocols and standards, such as those related to encryption, decryption, and key management.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders, including written training documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • GEM crypto manager(s) software.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders, including actively training personnel.


Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
  • Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Technical knowledge of cryptographic principles, protocols, and technologies, including those related to General Dynamics crypto devices.
  • Familiarity with Sponsor networks and devices, including both new and legacy systems, to ensure seamless integration and support.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to General Dynamics crypto devices and develop effective solutions.
  • Agile project management methodologies to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex technical information to various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment. This includes being able to navigate multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines.
