Job Description:
The Senior Web application Developer will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of web applications and services. They will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework and associated technologies. Expertise in both front-end and back-end development will be essential in creating seamless and efficient user experiences. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver robust and scalable applications.
Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Be expected to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and to adhere to best practices and coding standards. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Develop and maintain web applications using the .NET framework and related technologies.
Design and implement both front-end and back-end components of the application.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit, integration, and system testing.
Familiarity or experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Minimum 8 years of experience
React is a must have
Experienced with ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/ architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
Experienced with .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of database design and development, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Relevant certifications in .NET development or cloud technologies.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
