Position Overview: Celestar Corporation is seeking a Special Security Technician to join our team at the Pentagon. The Special Security Technician will be responsible for maintaining and executing Special Security Representative (SSR) services and responsibilities for approximately 100 personnel supporting the National Guard Bureau J2. This role involves managing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), conducting security briefings, and assisting in the maintenance of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).

Duties:
  • Maintain and implement applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines for SSR services.
  • Properly account for, control, transmit, transport, package, and safeguard SCI.
  • Conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefs, non-disclosure agreements, and other security training.
  • Assist with inspections, construction, and maintenance of SCIFs through various communication channels.
  • Provide briefings on local SCI security procedures to new personnel and those undergoing initial SCI indoctrination.
  • Assist the Special Security Officer (SSO) in managing SCI visitor clearances and accesses in DISS.
  • Manage conference rooms inside NGB J2's SCIF and support daily SCI video-teleconferencing.
  • Support TS-SCI communications during CNGB travel as SSR for temporary secure areas.


Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience with a portion performing relevant duties in the past 2 years.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • SFPC (Security Fundamental Professional Certification) course is preferred.
