Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) plays a critical role in ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. LCE comprises multiple disciplines that provide essential support to engineering teams, program offices, and customers. These disciplines are engaged throughout the entire product lifecycle-from conception to deactivation-with a primary focus on product support. Key areas of expertise within LCE include Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.

As a CPTL, you are an integral part of a collaborative team dedicated to sustainment and maintenance activities that align with the LADS product line sustainment strategy. Working closely with other Life Cycle and Field Engineering sustainment professionals, you will drive strategic sustainment initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance operations, fostering business growth, engaging with end users, and promoting process improvements, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.

In your leadership role, you will guide a multi-functional sustainment team, including indirect reports, and coordinate efforts with both domestic and international suppliers to ensure effective support for the LADS product line.

What You Will Do
  • Contract execution including scope of work, cost, performance, schedule and risk management
  • Estimate At Completion (EAC) reviews
  • Financial and Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) reporting
  • Government Finished Property (GFP) inventory management
  • Field activity support
  • Organic and Depot level maintenance
  • Shared product management
  • Site management
  • Full product service life surveillance and life extension planning
  • Compliance with customer policies, specifications, and requirements
  • Continuous support improvement
  • Conducting briefings and reporting to senior management and customer
  • Strategic planning and execution for long-term, affordable operational readiness support to exceed Warfighter needs
  • DOD 8570 IAT compliance or recognized professional certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+) prior to starting or with within six months of hire date.
  • This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or managing program cost, schedule and performance.
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).

  • Proven leadership experience managing a multidisciplinary team while executing logistics, depot, and sustainment activities.
  • Demonstrated consistency, accountability and flexibility managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • Leadership experience
  • Track record of developing customer relationships to meet contractual requirements.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
