Copperhead Technologies, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking an Analyst to support the Air National Guard Plans and Program & Resources Integration Branch. Candidates need an understanding of the organizational structure of the Air Force and Air National Guard.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and sustain Power BI dashboards to provide real-time data visualization, analytical insights, and executive-level decision support for ANG leadership.
  • Design, build, and maintain PowerApps applications to automate workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance process efficiency within NGB/A8PY operations.
  • Lead the Force Structure Announcement (FSA) process, serving as the sole point of contact responsible for compiling, organizing, and disseminating official FSAs to the Director of the Air National Guard to State Adjutants General following the Presidential Budget release.
  • Administer and streamline the NGB/A8PY database, ensuring integrity, standardization, and accessibility of data across program functions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings involving senior leaders, including General Officers, O-5s, and GS-15s, to ensure synchronization and timely execution of FSA deliverables.
  • Develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) to monitor FSA milestones, identify delays, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive FSA tracking tools to visualize progress and provide leadership with transparent, up-to-date status reports.
  • Deliver analytical and visualization support for budget and force structure planning initiatives, aligning with NGB/A8P mission objectives.
  • Standardize data reporting processes and templates to improve consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of ANG reporting across divisions.
  • Provide high-quality, responsive analytical support to NGB/A8PY leadership, enabling data-informed decision-making and improved resource management across the ANG enterprise.
  • Research and draft products on complex issues for use by senior leaders and decision makers. Products may be in the form of information papers, background papers, decision papers, or briefings.
  • Prepare products to incorporate information relevant to the issue, comparing and contrasting alternative solutions, and taking into consideration the strategic implications of the alternative courses of action.
  • Review policy papers and then analyzing for any impact on the Air National Guard (ANG).
  • Support the ANG Director's Action Group (DAG) and providing the Director of Air National Guard (DANG) with effective representation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Headquarters Air Force (HAF), the National Guard Bureau, Air Force MAJCOMs, Joint Staffs and the States.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of the ANG family of strategy documents.
  • Provide recurring and surge support for processes such as: DANG, Deputy DANG, Associate DANG, Legislative Liaison information papers; USAF, ANG, NGB, and OSD Strategy, Planning and Programming Processes (SP3); DoD planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE); military manpower and force structure decision papers; and operational and contingency mission actions.

Expected salary range: $76,000 - $96,000

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of professional experience working in the DOD environment // OR // Associate's Degree and 7 years of professional experience working with the USAF or ANG.
  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Experience using Power BI.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and present them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience working in the DoD environment.
  • Knowledge of functions and missions of the Air National Guard under Title 10 and Title 32.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of the Air Force strategic documents and Total Force Integration (TFI) initiatives.
  • Experience working at or with the headquarters level of a military service.
  • Experience briefing senior leaders.
  • Graduate of Professional Military Education.
  • Understanding of the Air National Guard Strategic Planning System (SPS).
  • Familiarity with the phases of DoD's PPBE system and the responsibilities of the services in building a program and budget.
  • Familiarity with the AF Task Management Tool (TMT).
