Responsibilities:

Support development of improved workflows for economic modeling, financial market monitoring, and research collaboration.
  • Assess existing economic tools, data platforms, and analytical technologies used to support financial market and macroeconomic analysis.
Collaborate with technical teams to identify opportunities to enhance or modernize economic research platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tooling.
Translate economic research requirements into functional recommendations that improve analytical capabilities.
  • Serve as the economic domain expert across multiple Agile sprint teams, providing guidance to product owners, developers, and analysts.
Help define user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements related to economic data analysis and financial market monitoring capabilities.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews to ensure economic domain requirements are properly addressed.
Validate that delivered capabilities align with the needs of Federal Reserve economists and policy stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with economists, analysts, and leadership to understand analytical priorities and research needs.
Support preparation of briefing materials, research summaries, and insights that help stakeholders interpret economic data and financial market developments.
Translate complex economic analysis requirements into actionable guidance for delivery teams.
