Day to Day:
o A client of Insight Global is looking for a FPGA / RF Electronic Warfare Software Engineer in Aberdeen, MD to support the design, development, and evaluation of advanced RF EW systems in a mission focused environment. In this role, you will develop FPGA firmware using VHDL to support electronic warfare capabilities, build and integrate system and signal of interest (SOI) models, and incorporate third party models into existing EW frameworks. You will collaborate closely with intelligence and mission partners to develop and evaluate electronic attack (EA) countermeasures in a hardware in the loop (HIL) environment, supporting hands on engineering analysis and system validation. Day to day, you will leverage MATLAB (including Simulink and signal processing toolboxes), Python, and C/C++ to analyze RF data, prototype algorithms, and interface with software defined radios. This position requires comfort working in Linux environments and supporting engineering evaluations of EW system models across both software and firmware domains.
