The Opportunity:
As a CACI EOD Specialist/Technician you will conduct thorough and deliberate screening and examination of materials to identify the presence of explosive, electrical, chemical, biological, and other physical hazards. Ensure all materials and components are properly cleared and deemed safe for forensic processing and subsequent handling by laboratory personnel. Perform and interpret detailed X-ray diagnostics of materials, using advanced techniques to confirm or deny the presence of hazardous or explosive elements.

- Perform and interpret detailed X-ray diagnostics of materials, using advanced techniques to confirm or deny the presence of hazardous or explosive elements.
- Positively identify initiators, explosives, power sources, and firing circuits, employing technical expertise to address high-risk conditions appropriately.
- Implement your knowledge to isolate and mitigate explosive threats.
- Develop comprehensive technical reports that document findings, provide analysis, and outline recommendations to inform senior officials and key stakeholders.
- Present technical briefings to senior Department of Defense (DoD) personnel and other relevant authorities, ensuring clear and concise communication.
- Employ web-based applications for data entry and extraction to track progress on case files and generate reports on processing workflows.
- Work closely with laboratory teams, forensic professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between hazard mitigation and exploitation efforts.
- Coordinate with DoD leadership and other relevant organizations to align priorities and strategies for safe material handling.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Five (5) years of military EOD experience that includes conducting the deliberate process of screening and examination material for explosive, electrical, chemical, biological, and other physical hazards, to ensure material and components are cleared for forensic processing and safe for handling by laboratory personnel prior to being released for exploitation.
- Perform X-ray diagnostic and interpretation of all material to confirm or deny the presence of explosive, electrical, chemical, biological, and other physical hazards.
- Positively identify initiators, explosives, power sources, firing circuits.
- Graduate of US Navy School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOEOD) with EOD Master badge preferred.
- Experience in writing technical reports, justification of technical recommendations and presenting briefs. Ability to communicate effectively with senior members of DoD organizations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to utilize web-based applications, entering and extracting data for the purposes of tracking and reporting on case files.
- Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Must pass medical assessment.
