The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with a robust understanding of Navy ship systems, ordnance, and munitions to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona.

Responsibilities:

• Navy Subject Matter Expert: Knowledge on ship systems, ordnance, and munitions
• Understanding of data engineering process with initial understanding of how to use SQL to process results from authoritative data sources such as a database.
• Understanding of security processes to allow for data integration of systems within DoD enterprise networks
• Ability to effectively communicate different technical topics to the sponsor and ordnance communities
• Provide ability to translate Navy use cases and gaps to data requirements for the data engineers and analysts
• Provide mentorship to team members on different Navy domains
• Works well in a team environment

Qualifications:

Required:

• Relevant Degree and 3+ years of experience and/or US Navy equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various
  levels.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Desired:

• Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance Preferred.
• Knowledge of probability theory and its application in the field of reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A).
• Knowledge of Navy organization, structure, ship classes, and shipboard systems.

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$76,000 - 155,700 USD
