Job Title: TS/SCI Records & Information Management (RIM), Engagement Manager
Location: Springfield, Virginia
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI
Overall Assignment Description:
Provide RIM engagement planning, coordination and execution.
Duties include:
Coordinate with personnel in selected offices across the clients to plan, execute, and control projects to establish records management business processes within those offices in accordance with the clients records management policies and the clients RIM Engagement approach.
Provide subject matter expertise based on extensive knowledge of the client retention policy, organizations, functions, and products to clients offices in preparation and/or response to internal & external inspections
Coordinate with personnel in selected client offices to plan, execute, and control projects; establish records management business processes in accordance with records management policy and the clients RIM Engagement approach;
Address questions and issues raised by the clients' personnel related to the performance of office-level RIM responsibilities, interpretation and application of the client's records retention policy and handling of electronic records;
Provide overall RIM engagement planning, and coordination: prepare and present classroom-level training for the client Information Officers (IOs); provide direct support in the performance of records inventories, creation of Office File Plans (OFPs), and related filing systems in hardcopy and shared file/electronic environments;
Provide office RM assessments to validate that RM business processes are properly established; ensure that records are managed and filed, identify and follow-up on any corrective actions that may be required.
Produce appropriate technical documentation on the design and functionality of the tools.
Assist with the collection and preparation of electronic records for disposition.
Shall provide direct support in the performance of records inventories, creation of Office File Plans (OFPs), and related filing systems in hardcopy and shared file/electronic environments through IT expertise and knowledge regarding potential solutions and best practices for the management of email and electronic records in the IC, DoD, Federal government or industry.
Skills and Experience:
Required:
Minimum 11 years of demonstrated experience in managing information engagement in the IC, DoD or Federal Government environment.
Demonstrated experience providing overall Record Information Management (RIM) engagement planning, and coordination: prepare and present classroom-level training for Information Officers (IOs).
Possess 3 years or more experience in project management.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Shall have demonstrated experience developing and delivering error free reports, memorandums, information, briefings, and/or recommendations that support records and information management business process implementation, and information management governance in the IC, DoD or Federal government environments.
Desired:
Possess a Master's degree or higher in a business, computer science, library science, engineering, information technology, mathematics, or a scientific field.
