The Opportunity:
CACI has an immediate opportunity for a results-oriented senior leader to interface with customers primarily in Huntsville, Alabama, Colorado Springs CO and the National Capitol Region, principally the Missile Defense Agency, US Space Force and the Intelligence Community. This leader will support CACI's portfolios to deliver cross-cutting warfighter solutions and bridge communication between the technical team and the customer, defining and clarifying requirements.

You must be able to deeply understand missile defense mission requirements, master technical concepts, identify key dependencies and trade-offs, assess and mitigate risks, align internal and external stakeholders on priorities and expectations, orchestrate complex operations, and communicate clearly and consistently. You must be able to build lightweight processes where required while driving positive results and instilling bias toward action. This is not a traditional PM role; we are looking for a high-agency, autonomous Program Director who is excited by the prospect of shaping how to do program management the CACI way and working collaboratively across the enterprise. You will also be the face of CACI to many of our end-users and our customers, capable of articulating the capabilities and limitations of CACI products at both an executive's and a layman's level.

- Space Domain Awareness missions and applications in support of the space missile management and supplementary mission systems
- Advancing Integrated Air & Missile Defense capabilities to meet new national security challenges
- Supporting the development of the next generation of space sensing, effector and comms enabling capabilities
- Applying AI/ML techniques to speed transformation of information to action and integration with next generation architectures

- Work with CACI leadership, portfolio leads and cross functional teams to identify and mature strategic opportunities consistent with CACI's strategy and long-term interests.
- Foster a "Team of Teams" culture amongst CACI, external customers, and industry partners to align objectives, optimize processes, gather insight, and drive on-time, technically superior execution within budget.
- Interface with the customer and technical team to define, clarify, and prioritize requirements and LOEs.
- Set business expectations and energize the team-Advise and direct portfolio leads, subject matter experts, teammates, and Business Operations staff to enable achievement of successful business outcomes.
- Cultivate relationships with strategic customers and teammates.
- Play an active role in CACI's presence at symposia, conferences, and community exchanges.
- Identify strategic program risks and opportunities - develop plans to mitigate, neutralize, or otherwise handle risk to ensure strategic program success
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to team members, investing in their growth enabling their success
Qualifications:
Required:
- A bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, computer science, finance or program management
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI security clearance; Poly desired
- Minimum 12 years of US Government or industry experience working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
- Experience supporting Higher Headquarters, Air Force, Space Command, processes and procedures as well as familiar with Air Force and Space Force Acquisition terminology
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, DAWIA Level III Project Management certification or comparable
- Experience with DoD missiles and space portfolio and business model
- Experience maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and leaders from the DoD missiles and space community
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent ability to work within a team, fostering teamwork and trust with both external and internal customers
- Excellent ability to develop and maintain customer relationships based on professionalism, responsiveness and ethical conduct.
- Excellent ability to readily manage rapidly shifting work priorities and multiple task assignments
- Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to manage program budgets effectively
Desired:
- Master's degree in national security and strategic studies, business administration, engineering, sciences, finance or mathematics
- Graduate of the National War College, Army War College, Naval War College, or Air War College
- Program (PgMP) or Portfolio Management Certification (PfMP)
- Demonstrated systems engineering experience
