Responsibilities:
• Work in a build center environment that facilitates and ensures the successful build, testing, packaging and disposition of Customer equipment.
• Integrate and test systems so that they are ready for shipment on schedule and built in accordance with customers standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance which includes Juniper routers and encryptors, Cisco Routers, Switches
• Upgrade and downgrade telecommunications devices by using various Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP), File Transfer Protocols (FTP), and Terminal Emulator programs
• Fabricate and CAT6 cables and other various data cables
• Physically Rack mounting telecommunications equipment
• Participate in overall integration of a total network including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, management and coordination of the corporate LAN/WAN.
• Contribute to creation of test booklets and evaluation of new equipment and systems.
• Attend meetings associated with systems builds (i.e., TEM, IRR, EORB)
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
• Possesses knowledge and experience in local and wide area networking, communications and related software and hardware, within a multi-platform operating environment.
• Understand Inter-connect (IC)drawings or wiring schematics of the equipment and cables prior to integrations
• Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups
• 5+ year of experience
• TS/SCI with Poly required
Desired Skills
• Knowledge of basic safety practices to included static grounding, emergency evacuation and first aid.
• JNCIA, CCNA, COMPTIA Security +, or other industry recognized certifications

Pay Range :
