CACI's Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a Senior Site Lead Engineer in support of an upcoming Air Force Modernization program. As a Site Lead Engineer, you'll oversee the current unclassified and classified base area networks while supporting infrastructure modernization to include site survey, design and installation activities across wired, wireless, broadband and ISP/OSP.
Responsibilities:
- Senior role with multi-disciplined network experience across wired, wireless, and mobile broadband solutions.
- Network Design & Engineering: support the creation of network architectures, topology diagrams, and data flow artifacts (Visio) for wired, wireless, and mobile broadband solutions, focusing on high availability and performance.
- Project Leadership & Strategy: Support site surveys and Engineering team in the design of modernized network architecture.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Design, implement, and document secure network architectures, including STIG checklists, port/protocol/service documentation, and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) in compliance with DAF and DoD RMF standards.
- Implementation & Support: support the deployment of network management tools (SNMP, SYSLOG, orchestration) and coordinate with local Communication Squadrons.
- Operational Transition & Maintenance: Perform, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues. Provide Tier 3 support to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all installations meet industry safety standards and operational cleanliness, restoring sites to original or better condition.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must hold active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of related work experience (High School diploma or associates degree plus 10+ years of experience performing as a Manager in DoD supporting large, complex networks may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree)
- Direct experience managing Air Force Base Area Networks
- DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC); CCNP or CCDP or equivalent
- MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired:
- 3+ years of experience managing telecommunications and/or data center projects
