Go (Golang) Software Engineer – AWS | Federal Project
Insight Global is hiring a Go (Golang) Software Engineer to support a large-scale Federal client. This role is ideal for someone with strong enterprise development experience and hands-on work building cloud-native, serverless applications in AWS.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop scalable applications using Golang, with exposure to Java, C, and C++
Build and deploy serverless solutions using AWS Lambda
Optimize and refactor existing systems for performance and scalability
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres/MySQL, DynamoDB/MongoDB)
Collaborate in an agile environment (code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint ceremonies)
Required Experience
3+ years of hands-on Golang development
5+ years of software engineering experience in large enterprise environments
Strong background with Java, C, or C++
Experience building and testing AWS Lambda applications
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices
Nice to Have
AWS certifications
Docker & Kubernetes experience
DevOps/IaC exposure (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Compensation: $38-48/hour
