Position Overview
QinetiQ US is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to work in Arlington, VA. This position directly supports a program within the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Prototyping and Experimentation (P&E). Specifically, supporting the Defense Innovation Acceleration (DIA) office. DIA identifies, incubates, and transitions technologies, systems, and Systems of Systems that close time-critical gaps in high-priority efforts supporting the Warfighter. The candidate must be skilled at interfacing, communicating, collaborating with government personnel ranging from action officer to senior leader levels, including both civilian and military government employees.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior finance and budget expert, supporting preparation of funding documents, reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial performance data, and preparing reports of status and findings.
- Perform program budget monitoring, budget preparation, and initiate funding transfer actions.
- Track funding commitments, transfers, acceptances, obligations, and expenditures across the office's projects, portfolios, and other relevant activities.
- Works with the team to strategically communicate the office's budget, fiscal outlook, and necessary budget trade-offs;
- Maintains cognizance of various program funds, and provides oversight and coordination of inputs for recurring monthly budget execution meetings;
- Coordinates with senior level offices related to budget/financial taskers and data calls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years' experience
- TS clearance,#qinetiqclearedjob
- DoW or Intel experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial management or accounting
- Managing RDT&E funds with strategic thought
- Using Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) or similar systems, supporting PPBE processes.
- Familiarity with R-2s and managing strategic checkbooks and associated exhibits and documents.
