The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a mid level Cybersecurity support resources to assist with a daily RMF activities and support an Army tactical system within CPE Ground This role focuses on RMF coordination and general cybersecurity support to help maintain and progress the Army organizational RMF authorization efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tactical system architecture related design, development, integration, testing, installation and troubleshooting.
  • Support the implementation and execution of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) for assigned systems throughout the authorization lifecycle.
  • Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of RMF documentation, including System Security Plans (SSP), POA&Ms, security control assessments, and supporting artifacts.
  • Manage and update cybersecurity artifacts within eMASS and ensure required documentation is complete and aligned with DoD and Army cybersecurity policies.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking using tools such as ACAS and other DISA approved security scanning solutions.
  • Analyze security findings and coordinate with system engineers, developers, and integrators to support timely vulnerability remediation.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance with DoD and Army policies, including AR 25-2, NIST SP 800-53, and related security guidance.
  • Assist in preparing cybersecurity documentation and briefing materials for internal reviews, cybersecurity working groups, and program leadership.
  • Participate in cybersecurity reviews, technical meetings, and program events to ensure security requirements are properly addressed during system development and integration.
  • Support development and implementation of security controls and mitigation strategies for tactical and enterprise systems.
  • Maintain cybersecurity tracking tools, metrics, and reporting to provide visibility into system security posture and remediation status.
  • Coordinate with program stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into system design, development, and testing activities.
  • Support continuous monitoring activities and assist with maintaining ATO/IATT compliance for operational systems.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Experience supporting the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) for tactical or operational systems, including preparation and maintenance of RMF artifacts throughout the authorization lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience working within eMASS, including managing control implementation plan and supporting package development for ATO or IATT submissions.
  • Experience conducting and analyzing vulnerability scans and coordinating remediation efforts with engineering and integration teams.
  • Implementing and validating DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and other DoD cybersecurity configuration requirements.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity documentation including System Security Plans (SSP), POA&Ms, security control assessments, and implementation plans.
  • Knowledge of DoD and Army cybersecurity policies and standards, including NIST SP 800-53, AR 25-2, and DoD RMF guidance.
  • Ability to collaborate with system engineers, integrators, and program stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into system development, testing, and operational environments.


Experience/Education

Level III
- BS Cybersecurity or Equivalent (as determined by the Government)
- Security+ certification
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience; or MS Cybersecurity or Equivalent as determined by the Government AND more than 3 years relevant experience
- Extensive experience in Cybersecurity, and has the ability to lead cybersecurity efforts on assigned programs with minimal oversight from the Government lead
