The Opportunity:
CACI's Digital & Enterprise Solutions (D&ES) Sector is seeking a skilled Voice Engineer (Lead). The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of voice communication systems within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of voice technologies, network engineering principles, and IT infrastructure. You'll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern voice network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations.

Responsibilities:
• Design and architect voice communication systems, including VoIP, PBX, and unified communications platforms.
• Develop detailed system specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide implementation and maintenance.
• Ensure voice systems align with organizational standards, policies, and industry best practices.
• Integrate voice systems with other IT infrastructure components, such as network, security, and data systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of voice systems with existing technologies.
• Oversee the implementation and deployment of voice systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute system deployments.
• Conduct testing and validation of voice systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Facilitate communication between IT teams, project managers, and other relevant parties.
• Optimize resource utilization and implement scaling strategies to meet changing demands.
• Provides daily supervision and direction to staff
Qualifications:
Required:
• US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance
• Degree: Technical BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: 7 years in voice system architecture, design, and implementation.
• Commensurate: High School diploma or associate degree plus a minimum of 12 years of experience
• Certified Voice Engineer (CVE) or equivalent.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
• Certified Unified Communications Professional (CUCP) or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of voice communication technologies (e.g., VoIP, SIP, PBX).
• Strong understanding of systems architecture principles and practices.
• Proficiency in network protocols, security, and IT infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Specific Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Desired:
• Active Secret security clearance
• Experience in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
• Experience with cloud-based voice solutions and unified communications platforms.
