- Define System Architecture: Lead the design, development, and documentation of system architectures for new products, features, and services.
- Conduct Feasibility Studies: Evaluate the technical feasibility and risks associated with proposed system designs.
- Develop Technical Roadmaps: Create and maintain long-term technical roadmaps for system evolution and modernization.
- Ensure System Scalability and Performance: Design and implement systems capable of handling high volumes of traffic and data.
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay Abreast of Technology Trends: Research and evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on our systems.
- Ensure System Security and Reliability: Design and implement security measures to protect system integrity and availability.
- Communicate Effectively: Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (must obtain a Poly within 6 months of start date) (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science).
- DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience with network devices.
- Experience in designing system architectures in Visio.
- Understanding of enterprise-level systems, including networking, virtualization, and storage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong teamwork skills with the capability to work independently on projects when needed.
