Job Overview
The Sr. Property Specialist is responsible for supporting compliance to property management regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies across the enterprise. The Sr. Property Specialist supports property management activities by assisting with contract transitions, providing training, supporting cycle counting and inventory, maintaining records, supporting audits, and providing policy guidance.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Supports the administration of property management audits to ensure conformance to property management regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies
- Assist with contract transitions to include training, conducting inventories, reconciling anomalies, reporting, and validating data
- Supports cycle counting and inventories across the enterprise
- Provides oversight, support, and guidance to personnel regarding property management regulations and procedures
- Supports maintaining accurate property management records in accordance with company policies
- Provides property management training to employees
- Disposes of government property in accordance with all applicable regulations, standards, policies and management directives
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree; or ten (10) years of Property Management experience in auditing, receiving, controlling, inventorying, recording, managing, reporting, and project transitions.
- Education and experience may be substituted interchangeably.
- Experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Parts 45 and 52.245, DFARS 252.211.7000 - 7007 and/or equivalent agency regulations and supplements.
- Experience working with voluntary consensus standards and other appropriate standards such as ASTM E-53 Property Management Standards.
- Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport.
- Ability to successfully pass any employment background checks and/or drug testing required.
- Ability to obtain and maintan a favorable National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI), Secret DoD security clearance, Top Secret DoD security clearance or Intelligence Community clearance as may be requireed by a contract position.
- Skill in the use of MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Certification as a Professional Property Administrator earned through the National Property Management Association (NPMA).
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Property Management, supply chain management or related field.
- Ten or more years of US government or contractor property control or related experience.
- Certified Professional Property Manager earned through the NPMA.
Working Conditions:
- This position is primarily performed in an office setting using standard office equipment (desk, computer, phone, printer, copier, etc.).
- Work may require occasional weekend work, evening work and CONUS and OCONUS travel.
Physical Requirements:
- Work requires the ability to operate a computer and work in a standard office environment.
- Communicate information in verbal and written form.
- Read and review information and charts.
- Perform analytical thinking skills, use sound judgement.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
