Systems Administrator Senior

Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, Senior Systems Administrator to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team, you will help to assist USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally.

Job description

As the Systems Administrator, you will perform admin level support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. The Systems Administrator must possess strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of the Government's systems' hardware and software. The position requirements vary depending on system complexity, the types of operating and network systems being supported, and the size of the organization. The Systems Administrator also monitors and controls one or more mid-range application servers. A background in the specific types of hardware and software systems used by the Government is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study program operating instructions to determine equipment setup and operations.
• Monitor the operation of assigned applications and storage devices and determine the point of hardware or software failure.
• Troubleshoot and configure systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when individual units of a system malfunction.
• Coordinate with software systems engineering or applications developers as necessary to correct errors.
• Maintain operating records such as machine performance and production reports.
• Install operating system software, patches, and upgrades.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Configure, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware.
• Perform system backups and recovery.
• Conduct server builds.
• Complete troubleshooting issues related to infrastructure including VDI components.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the infrastructure including VDI Environment.

You MUST have:

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
• 5+ years experience in monitoring the operation of assigned applications and storage devices and determine the point of hardware or software failure.
• 3+ year experience in troubleshooting and configuring systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when individual units of a system malfunction.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) OR Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Education:

• High School Diploma with 12 years of experience OR AA + 10 yrs of experience OR BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience
