Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for an experienced Chief Systems Testing Engineer to support us on an important, cutting edge, and mission critical project for a DoW customer. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and operating a complex software testing process for a series of cyber kill chain applications in a cloud environment. This is an early stage project, so its an exciting opportunity to come in and shape how testing will be done for our customer and project. This position will also serve as the lead system integrator’s senior system engineer and support system engineering efforts outside of test responsibilities. The position requires a diverse background in network engineering, software systems engineering and system level test management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical oversight of test campaign development and execution (integration testing, cyber vulnerability, DT/OT).
• Develop technical test plan documentation for system level testing.
• Support government Development Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) events.
• Collaborate with capability development groups to ensure sufficient unit level testing approaches and testing artifact generation.
• Support government Chief Engineer in developing systems architecture from concept through design and implementation.
Must Haves:
-Bachelors Degree and 9+ years of experience
-Active TSSCI Clearance
-Experience designing and implementing test plans for complex systems
-Experience using Selenium or related tools for software system testing
-Experience creating and executing manual test plans
-Leading systems engineering projects, including requirements definition, design, and implementation.
Plusses:
-Working knowledge of the cloud (AWS, Azure, or other)
Compensation:
$70/hr to $100/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
