As an AI Software Engineer (Cybersecurity/Automation), you will play a key role in delivering, customizing, and enhancing our tools' capabilities within a forward-deployed USAF (United States Air Force) environment. Your responsibilities will include creating and modifying integrations, developing automation workflows, and empowering mission users to utilize the tool effectively across various settings. This role requires on-site presence at the customer facility located in San Antonio, Texas, and you will take the lead in identifying data sources, system behaviors, and integration points essential for rolling out new capabilities on the platform. You will work closely with mission stakeholders to convert operational needs into actionable engineering tasks, ensuring successful technical outcomes while supporting ongoing capability maintenance and growth.
Your Responsibilities
• Develop new integrations and automation capabilities for critical cybersecurity workflows.
• Collaborate directly with operations teams, engineers, and government program leaders.
• Identify data sources, tools, and systems necessary for Polarity connections.
• Design, adjust, and implement integrations, plugins, and automation workflows.
• Adapt to ongoing mission needs as technology, hardware, and operational contexts evolve.
• Influence how the tool functions at scale within the USAF cybersecurity framework.
• Act as the technical liaison between Polarity corporate engineering and field execution teams.
Requirements
• Active TS or TS/SCI clearance (or the ability to obtain one) with experience in classified settings.
• Strong software engineering skills, particularly in JavaScript and JSON.
• Experience working with APIs, automation workflows, and integration frameworks.
• Ability to translate unclear mission requirements into engineering deliverables.
• Skill in conducting user discovery interviews and capturing technical requirements.
• Familiarity with US government environments involving multiple enclaves or restricted networks.
