Position Overview
The Web Developer supports the development, management, modernization, and strategic evolution of Sponsor internal and external classified web platforms. This role serves as a key technical and communications resource responsible for ensuring the organization’s digital presence effectively conveys mission priorities and messaging while maintaining strict compliance with classification, security, and federal policy requirements.
The selected candidate will blend web development expertise, content management, branding support, and strategic communications planning to enhance digital capabilities and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Administration
Support development and maintenance of Sponsor internal and external classified websites.
Serve as SharePoint Site Collection Administrator.
Plan, design, develop, and execute new webpages and site features aligned with organizational objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and help implement new website technologies and enhancements.
Support migration and conversion of legacy websites to align with current branding, layout, and technical standards.
Provide ongoing website updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting support.
Support other ad-hoc web development requirements as needed.
Content Management & Communications
Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper classification markings.
Review webpages for compliance with Sponsor and Federal policies.
Support gathering, drafting, editing, and disseminating monthly newsletter content, ensuring classification accuracy.
Develop graphic content for websites, placemats, newsletters, and related communications materials.
Support branding and marketing initiatives to ensure visual and messaging consistency across digital platforms.
Strategic Planning & Governance
Develop and recommend a communications plan and strategic digital roadmap aligned with Agency strategies and leadership priorities.
Provide recommendations to leadership on website modernization, user engagement, and digital communication improvements.
Ensure all digital content adheres to classification guidance, security protocols, and governance standards.
Required Skills
Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
Demonstrated experience in website development and administration within a secure or government environment.
Experience serving as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator.
Proficiency in web content management systems and modern web technologies.
Experience updating and maintaining classified or sensitive content in accordance with federal policy.
Strong written and editorial skills with experience in content development and dissemination.
Experience developing graphics and visual content for digital platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to ad-hoc tasking in a dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding classification accuracy and compliance.
Desired Skills
Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or federal agency communications efforts.
Knowledge of website modernization and digital transformation best practices.
Experience developing strategic communications or digital roadmaps for leadership stakeholders.
Familiarity with branding standards and digital marketing principles within a government environment.
