Systems Engineer 2/3

Tensley Consulting is seeking a System Engineer to support mission systems engineering activities across complex enterprise and classified environments. The System Engineer provides technical expertise supporting system architecture development, requirements analysis, system integration, and lifecycle engineering activities across mission-critical systems. This role works closely with government stakeholders, developers, and engineering teams to translate operational requirements into technical solutions that support secure, scalable, and reliable system capabilities. The System Engineer supports the full system lifecycle, including requirements development, architecture design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities while ensuring systems meet government mission objectives and technical standards.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Fourteen (14) years of experience as a System Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional system engineering experience may be substituted in place of the degree.

Salary: $190,000-$220,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.
