Event Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and provide logistical support for meetings and events including directorate-wide all-hands meetings, technical exchange meetings, leadership off-sites, industry days, workshops, and outreach events.
- Coordinate event logistics including scheduling, venue arrangements, registration, and attendee management.
- Develop and manage agendas, event timelines, and supporting documentation to ensure successful execution.
- Serve as host or master of ceremonies for meetings and events as required.
- Provide full lifecycle meeting support including planning, organizing, scheduling, agenda development, and conference material preparation.
- Prepare event materials, briefings, and proceedings documentation.
- Coordinate audio-visual equipment, webcasting services, and video teleconferencing (VTC) support for both in-person and virtual events.
- Liaise with internal offices and external partners to identify engagement requirements and ensure satisfaction across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Lead cross-office coordination for external engagements including preparation meetings and talking point development.
- Ensure compliance with NGA protocols and engagement policies.
- Draft and distribute internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, and event summaries.
- Support communication strategies that enhance awareness of directorate initiatives and activities.
- Provide recommendations to improve engagement processes, communications, and event quality.
- Coordinate security requirements for meetings at NGA, NSG, DoD, and Intelligence Community locations.
- Drive engagement activities from concept through execution, ensuring deadlines, logistics, and stakeholder needs are met.
- Identify opportunities to improve event coordination, protocol practices, and communications processes.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- BA/BS or MA/MS in communications, psychology, management or equivalent degrees
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing meetings, conferences, or large-scale organizational events
- Experience coordinating audio-visual services, virtual meeting platforms, and webcast events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and project coordination abilities
- Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
- Experience supporting NGA, DoD, or Intelligence Community environments
- Background in communications, protocol, or engagement support roles
- Experience coordinating multi-office or cross-organizational initiatives
- Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple events or projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments
