Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description
RiVidium Inc. seeking a skilled Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support DoD programs in designing, maintaining, and improving complex systems. The ideal candidate will assess system performance, identify problems, provide solutions, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess systems, determine issues, and provide effective solutions to technical problems.
• Design, upgrade, and maintain systems while brainstorming potential improvements for future capabilities.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, management, and IT staff during system creation, implementation, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement control features to ensure systems meet organizational quality standards.
• Conduct quality control procedures to ensure systems are efficient, reliable, and operational.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses to develop cost-efficient solutions for projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: BS in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university. One academic year in a related post-secondary program may substitute for one year of experience. Two years of industry experience may substitute for one year of DoD experience (up to two years credit).
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD programs.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, system design, collaboration, and quality control skills; ability to perform cost-benefit analyses and recommend system improvements.

Work Environment:

• Position based in Hanover, MD.
• Requires Top Secret/SCI With CI Poly clearance.
