Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description
RiVidium Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to manage and maintain closed and restricted DoD networks while supporting other guest systems across multiple classification levels. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in systems administration, security hardening, and cloud/virtual environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the System Administrator for a closed restricted network and support other DoD guest systems at various classification levels.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and administrative tasks to support ongoing operations and system enhancements.
• Conduct systems planning, management, analysis, integration, installation, and training for complex hardware, software (applications and operating systems), and networks.
• Perform updates, upgrades, security hardening, and maintenance on physical, virtual, and cloud-based servers.
• Implement Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations on Windows, Linux, and network devices.
• Develop and use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts with tools such as Amazon CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Ensure system security, performance, and reliability in accordance with DoD policies and guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• Experience: Over six (6) years of experience in systems administration and desktop support.
• Certifications: Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II as specified in DoD 8570.01-M (examples: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• Skills:
  • Expertise with Windows, Linux, and network administration.
  • Knowledge of STIG compliance and system hardening.
  • Ability to develop and maintain scripts for IaC using CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Strong troubleshooting, integration, and systems management skills.

Work Environment:

• Position based in Hanover, MD.
• Requires Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
