RiVidium Inc. seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD programs in executing lifecycle Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity functions. The ISSO will assist Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs) in implementing and enforcing DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and protecting sensitive systems and data.

RiVidium Inc. seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD programs in executing lifecycle Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity functions. The ISSO will assist Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs) in implementing and enforcing DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and protecting sensitive systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist ISSMs in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities in accordance with DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Implement and enforce all DoD Information Systems (IS) and Platform IT (PIT) system cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Ensure users possess the requisite security clearances and access authorizations and are aware of their cybersecurity responsibilities before granting system access.
- In coordination with the ISSM, initiate protective or corrective measures in response to cybersecurity incidents or vulnerabilities.
- Maintain and ensure accessibility of all DoD IS cybersecurity-related documentation for authorized personnel.
- Review static code analysis reports, penetration testing results, vulnerability scans, and other cybersecurity assessments.
- Analyze networks, data flows, organizational charts, and other systems for potential vulnerabilities related to processes or personnel.
- Facilitate authorized reporting of cybersecurity events, threats, and vulnerabilities to the ISSO.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively complex experience in lifecycle cybersecurity, information assurance, and program protection standards for networking, computers, and custom applications.
- Certifications (any of the following): CISM, CISSO, CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCIH, GCSA, GICSP, GSLC.
- Skills: Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures; experience with risk assessment, incident response, and vulnerability management; ability to analyze technical reports and identify security gaps.
- This role requires work at Hanover, MD, and Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
- Top Secret/SCI clearance required prior to start.
