Location: Patuxent River, MD
We are seeking a highly motivated system engineering professionals to join our team to support Tomahawk Missile Systems (PMA-280). The Systems Engineer will support kit production and obsolescence redesign efforts. The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate system design information to a large spectrum of engineering disciplines, as well as customers at all leadership levels. Interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects.
The proposed salary range for this position is $100,000 - $180,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance
- Years of Experience and Education: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field from an accredited college or university with 5 to 10 years working with DoD (NAVAIR preferred) and shows understanding of the SETR process.
- Experience in system engineering and DoD acquisition on a DoD program.
- System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) event coordination, preparation, & presentation.
- Engineering Project Management including assignment delegation & monitoring, schedule creation and management, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) creation.
- Requirements management, including capture, decomposition, & tracing.
- Experience with risk management processes and procedures.
- Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) administration, including drafting, processing, & updating, specific to missile systems preferred.
- Change Request / Change Management (CR/CM) techniques & processes.
- Technical expertise with system engineering, systems requirements analysis, interface support, system-level integration, test tool development, installation platform and integration testing.
- Excellent organizational skills to keep a program's system integration & testing efforts on track across multiple geographically separated locations.
- This individual will be able to support a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills, be a self-starter, and be able to partner with lead engineer teammates to support all system engineering aspects of a program.
