CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
As a Missile Tracking Systems Engineer for the US Space Force S pace D evelopment A gency (SDA) G round , M anagement and I ntegration (GMI) program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state- of-the-art ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) . You will be part of an elite team providing the evolution, expansion, integration, testing and maintenance of the ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test and checkout capabilities and infrastructure management, including all development, systems engineering, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support.

Key Responsibilities
- S ystems engineering that includes decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, and system design behavior s
- P re-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads capabilities to track missile s
- Analysis and fusion of missile tracking data provided by satellite to the ground for processing and rapidly providing and disseminating the information
Technical Skills
- Prefer 1 5 + years of recent designing and developing systems that can solve complex problems using algorithms
- Prefer 10 + years of recent algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters
Bonus Skills You Might Bring
- Recent e xperience with missile tracking systems design and architecture , and sensor fusion techniques
- Recent experience designing logic, assessing and scheduling satellite services to track missiles
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
- Experience with image processing (collection, handling, storing, and analysis)
