CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
As a Missile Tracking Systems Engineer for the US Space Force S pace D evelopment A gency (SDA) G round , M anagement and I ntegration (GMI) program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state- of-the-art ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) . You will be part of an elite team providing the evolution, expansion, integration, testing and maintenance of the ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test and checkout capabilities and infrastructure management, including all development, systems engineering, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support.

Key Responsibilities:
- S ystems engineering that includes decomposing requirements into modeling of the traffic data flow from a satellite constellation to the ground network
- P re-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and satellite services to track missiles
- Analysis of missile tracking data to validate the traffic model
Technical Skills Required:
- Prefer 15+ years of recent modeling of communication data , preferably using satellite constellations and ground networks
- Prefer 10+ years of recent Satellite to Ground RF communication protoc o l experience , end to end packet prioritization and routing , or traffic modelin g experience
Bonus Skills You Might Bring:
- Recent experience with programming languages such as M ATLAB, Java, P ython
- Recent experience with simulation and modeling analysis tools such as An sys STK
- Recent experience with System/Software design for cloud-based microservice architecture
- Experience with image processing (collection, handling, storing, and analysis)
