Background Information:
This full-time position supports the Atlantic Targets & Marine Operations (ATMO) Division of the Atlantic Ranges & Targets (ART) Department in Patuxent River, MD. This p osition will be a part of an established marine operations team that supports multiple systems on a variety of projects nationwide.

This p osition will be a part of an established marine operations team that supports multiple systems on a variety of projects nationwide.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Engineering and troubleshooting support for the SeaCAN/PCCU remote control system.
- Remote Control Operator for local and deployed mission support.
- Support on deployed missions of Waveglider system.
- Prototyping of T&E development projects.
- Participation in boat operations and maintenance of marine electrical systems.
- Shipboard support to include knowledge of launching and recovery of small boats.
- Candidate can expect to be trained to participate in functions beyond normal operations.

Required Education, Experience, Skills, & Certifications/Licenses:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering from a school where the degree curriculum was accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
- Ability to obtain a passport.
- Possess valid state driver's license, Commercial Driver License is a plus.
- Physically capable of transferring between vessels at sea.
- Ability to travel 40-50% of the year from one to six weeks at a time and work overtime/after hours as needed.
Clearance Requirement:
- Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
- Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance
